This page explains the privacy practices of the current Pickup Line website prototype. Review and update it to reflect your actual hosting provider, analytics, advertising, and any services you add before publishing the website publicly.
2. Information you enter
The current version does not ask visitors to create an account or submit their name, email address, or profile details. Your target and mood selections are used in the page URL to display matching lines. The current static site does not send those selections to a Pickup Line account or database.
3. Clipboard
If you choose Copy, the website asks your browser to copy the selected line to your clipboard. This action is initiated by you. Your browser and device control clipboard permissions.
4. Hosting and technical information
The hosting provider used to serve the website may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, access time, and requested files in server logs for security and operation. Check your actual hosting provider's privacy documentation for details about retention and processing.
5. Third-party services
The current stylesheet loads fonts from Google Fonts. When those fonts are requested, Google may receive technical connection information such as your IP address. Consult Google's applicable privacy information. If you later add analytics, advertising, forms, embedded content, or other third-party tools, update this policy to explain them.
6. Cookies and local storage
The current website code does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies, or save profile selections in local storage. Your hosting provider or third-party services may operate their own technologies; verify this against the final deployed setup.
7. Children and age-marked content
Adult-marked 18+ content is intended only for adults. The toggle is not formal age verification. The website is not designed to collect personal information from children.
8. Your choices and contact
You can choose not to use the copy feature and can leave the website at any time. For privacy questions or requests, provide a real contact email or other contact method here before launch. Do not publish this page with placeholder contact information.
9. Updates
This policy may be updated when the website or its data practices change. The “Last updated” date above should be revised whenever you publish a material change.
